Gabriel's Inferno by Sylvain Reynard

I have fallen in love with a man that A.) IS NOT REAL and B.) IS NOT MY HUSBAND! Sylvain Reynard is one of the most talented authors out there, he enthralls you with his writing in such a way that you won’t want to put the book down. Hence the reason why I am on my second go round...cannot put it down!

This is the story of two broken souls that find love and forgiveness with each other. Professor Gabriel…oooh where do I even begin? He’s a man who knows how to seduce a woman hence the reason why I foam at the mouth with the mention of his name. He’s handsome, extremely intelligent and an excellent lover. He possesses great love making skills and he knows how to put them to excellent use.  He also has a dark past that haunts him and his anguish tugged at my heartstrings. He wants to be good, but his past prevents him from really seeing his self worth. Professor Gabriel is one of my favorite male characters and once you meet him in Gabriel’s Inferno, you will understand why I have fallen head over heals. You may not be able to get him out of your mind for while... (just warning you)

Julia Mitchell is sweet, very considerate and caring young woman.  She was able to break havoc on Gabriel’s world just by being herself. No pretension, no hidden agenda. Just Julia, with all her insecurities but with a big and loving heart. She has a few dark secrets as well and it’s interesting to see how she and Gabriel choose to cope with their own demons.

It’s a story that proves there’s always a chance at love even if you are the worst of all sinners. It’s about embracing and accepting our weakness, about being able to love and be loved deeply despite all the doubts that might plague us. I loved, laughed, and cried with the characters and seriously, after finishing the book you won’t be able to let them go.

Sylvain Reynard’s writing is excellent and he takes the reader on a beautiful journey made of passion, wit and meaning. He’s an author who’s very skillful at writing sizzling scenes between the two characters.  There are a lot of passionate moments that made my blood pump faster in my veins. I even caught myself blushing on one or more occasions.

This story will leave you breathless and yearning for  the love that is shared between the two characters. I highly suggest you pick yourself up a copy or download it on your e-reader...you will thank me later! <3

The Fifty Shades Trilogy

Have you been swept up in the latest of the book fads yet? If not let me share with you a wonderfully erotic new read... yes you heard me correctly - I said erotic! I will be the first to say when I first heard about these books I saw everyone posting about them on Instagram...it took me awhile to finally get the courage to ask what they were about! Lets just say the dubbed name 'mommy porn' definitely does the books justice.

The Fifty Shades trilogy, whose three books are currently are the top three sellers in the United States, is anything but tame. The first book, titled Fifty Shades of Grey, should have been titled Rosy Cheeks Meets Fifty Shades. That’s how your face will be while reading it – especially if there’s someone peaking at your copy.

Ana Steele is a soon-to-be college graduate in her early twenties who’s asked by her best friend, Kate, to go and interview a self-made young enigmatic billionaire named Christian Grey at the HQ of his company. Knowing nothing about him, the interview isn’t exactly top notch. But it works well enough for Christian to develop an interest in Ana, who reciprocates the feeling.

What Ana doesn’t know is that Christian Grey is controlling, seriously into BDSM, with a playroom in his huge Seattle apartment, and who wants Ana to be his submissive beyond anything he’s ever wanted before. Ana doesn't quite get a chance to fill out the paperwork before they both start falling for each other. The sex scenes in this book are graphically detailed. Which in return is causing quite a bit of controversy with many libraries who are pulling the books of their shelves.

The book is a bit repetitive at times which has turned peoples noses up toward it. If they could get passed the blushing of the cheeks and the repetitive nature of the books I think they would really enjoy themselves. The sex scenes in the book are quite steamy and I wouldn't recommend reading them if you didn't have a partner in crime to help calm you down. (Don't say I didn't warn you!)

With the help of Ana's raunchy 'inner goddess' which whom I just absolutely adore and her prude of a 'self conscience' made the book incredibly unique and fun. It really put a view to it all! The transformation of the characters is very pronounced through the trilogy and it was neat to see the growth! I think it helps that Christian Grey is the mysteriously handsome, rich man that we crave to fall in love with!

If your read this book make sure you read the emails, all the way through! There are cute little things in the subject lines and in the signature blocks!

Let yourself loosen up a bit, grab a glass of wine and sit down and enjoy yourself! I promise you, you will not be able to put the books down. If you are anything like me, all three of them will be read within the week ;)
